Our Team

Our goal at the Hill Creek is to serve you efficiently, courteously, and warmly while bringing your pet the best possible medical treatment and evaluation.  Our attentive and compassionate staff is at the heart of your pet's care.  We have assembled a very special and talented group!

Practice Manager 

Penny LinkePenny Linke


Penny joined Hill Creek as the Manager in 2003.  She has a BS in Biology from Furman University and an MS in Animal Science from Purdue University. She has a wide variety of responsibilities at Hill Creek. She takes care of a large portion of the day to day operations associated with running the practice. She also handles all of the human resources aspect, including hiring new employees and monitoring staff performance. Penny lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, Carl, two dogs (Reggie and Sparky) an Amazon parrot named Fiasco, and her horse, Sunny. She has two grown children. In her free time Penny enjoys horseback riding and volunteering with the local chapter of the US Pony Club.

Office Manager

Erin Fonville, Office Manager/Veterinary Assistant

Erin has worked in the veterinary field for many years and started working at Hill Creek in 2008.  She works full-time as Office Manager and also give the veterinarians assistance when needed.  Erin lives in Moncure with her husband, Brent, along with their two great danes (Zeus & Moose), a Jack Russel (Marley) and one cat (Hallie).  In her spare time she enjoys watching movies and spending time with her husband and pets.  Erin also does petsitting in the Pittsboro/Moncure area. 

  

Registered Veterinary Technicians

Jennifer FerrellJennifer Ferrell, R.V.T.

Jennifer grew up in Chapel Hill and is currently living in Alamance County. She has a BS in Communications and Advertising from Appalachian State University and is a 2003 graduate of the Veterinary Medical Technology program at Central Carolina Community College in Sanford.  Jennifer has 3 dogs, Johnny, Holmes, and Casey and 3 cats, Turtle, Oliver and Gracie.  In her spare time Jennifer welcomes pet-sitting jobs in the Chapel Hill, Fearrington, Pittsboro area.

 

 

 

Stephanie M. Clark, R.V.T.

Stephanie lives on a small farm in Chatham County with her husband, Mark, and their two sons, Chris & Seth.  Her work experience includes both large and small animal medicine, shelter medicine and rescue work.  Stephanie is a graduate of the Veterinary Medical Technology program at CCCC and also has a BS in Veterinary Medical Technology from Campbell University.  In 2002 she completed a certification program in Canine Massage Therapy at the Boulder College of Massage in Boulder, CO.  She has trained and competed in both canine agility and conformation with her Italian Greyhounds and in 2003 founded an Italian Greyhound rescue organization.  In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and their pets.

Brittney Holland, R.V.T.

Brittney recently joined Hill Creek after graduating from Central Carolina Community College with an Associate in Applied Science, specializing in  Veterinary Medical Technology.  Her only pet is a toy poodle named Darlin.  In her spare time, Brittney enjoys reading, listening to music, and traveling. 

  

  

Veterinary Receptionists 

Anne Harrison

Ann lives in Holly Spring with her son and daughter.  Previous experience includes working as Head Veterinary Assistant at a low cost spay/neuter clinic in Greenville, NC.  She enjoys photography and traveling to concerts in her spare time.

 

 

 

 Ashley Ezzell

Ashley lives in Efland with her boyfriend, Gary, and two dogs, Mabel and Pinky.  She has a BS in Animal Science from NCSU.  Ashley does portrait artistry on the side and enjoys riding her horse, Honey, in her spare time.  Visit her website at www.the-easel.net to see her work.  There you can order a professional hand-drawn portrait of your pet.

 

 

 Jen Winkler, Part-time

Jen is a great receptionist and animal lover. She has a Master's Degree in education and taught high school english for 4 years before coming to work at Hill Creek. She has a wonderful "Labrabeagle" named Tucker and a cat, Curious George. When she's not at Hill Creek answering phones, helping clients, and holding down the fort, she enjoys Scuba diving, gardening, reading, and cooking. She and her husband Peter live in Chapel Hill along with their young daughter.

Lesley Williamson

Lesley joined our team in 2005.  She has many years of veterinary experience both as an assistant and a receptionist.  She currently lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, Brandon, and young son, Alex.  They have a very spoiled pit bull, Riley, and 2 cats.
